During this AP Physics 1 @ Hawaii APSI, you’ll explore the course framework, the exam, and the new AP resources that will help you plan and focus instruction—and give you feedback throughout the year on the areas where individual students need additional focus. You’ll also learn about completing the digital activation process at the start of the school year that will give you immediate access to the new resources and will help ensure that your students can register for AP Exams by the new fall deadlines.

Ms. ANGELA JENSVOLD
Welcome to the Second Annual Hawai‘i Advanced Placement® Summer Institute (APSI).
Ms. Angela Jensvold earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Physics. She has been teaching AP Physics at Diamond Bar High School since 2003 and has over 20 years of experience teaching introductory physics at the college level. For more than two decades, Ms. Jensvold has actively contributed to the AP Physics community as a reader, table leader, question leader, and exam leader for the College Board. She has also served on the AP Physics 2 Test Development Committee for seven years, where she helped shape the curriculum and assessment strategies.
In addition to her teaching and committee work, Ms. Jensvold is passionate about professional development, regularly conducting workshops for teachers to enhance their instructional strategies and better prepare their students for the AP exam and college-level physics courses. Her commitment to education extends to mentoring new teachers and fostering a collaborative learning environment among her colleagues. Angela believes in the importance of engaging students in hands-on learning experiences and is dedicated to making physics accessible and enjoyable for all.
